Vehicle tracking

1. Why do I need to use a fitment centre to install my Tracker, instead of working through head office?

  • The fitment centre serves as the point of contact between you and head office, whilst enjoying personal and professional service and advise, from the moment you contact us, or walk onto our premises.

We assist you with your queries and disputes keeping records / paper trail and feedback on your behalf.

2. I am with Tracker, how do I reset my password

  • If you are using the app – click on login > Forget password. Enter your username and choose whether they should send you an OTP pin via email or SMS.
  • Alternatively click on the following link and follow the prompts: https://my.tracker.co.za/ForgotPassword.aspx
  • If you are still unable to reset your password, visit us at 2 Schonland Street, Duncanville, Vereeniging and we will gladly assist.

3. How will my insurance know that I have vehicle tracking installed?

Upon collecting your vehicle, you will be issued with a certificate. A copy can be sent to your insurance company

4. Can you install vehicle tracking at my house?

  • Yes we can, permitted it is a safe, closed space for our technicians, where there will not any people moving past whilst doing the installation.

Vehicle Security

1. Do I need an anti-hijack even if I have vehicle tracking installed?

Yes, vehicle tracking serves as a tracking devise to track your vehicle at all times, and assist with recovery, should you vehicle get stolen. An anti-hijack system decreases the risk of your vehicle getting stolen.

2. I already have central locking, can I still install an alarm / anti-hijack?

Yes you can

Sound / Radios / Displays

1. Can I purchase sound or speakers or even a radio and install it myself?

  • Yes you can, but you will lose the 1 year warranty.

Vehicle Aircon

1. Can I get a regas done, without a pre-assessment?

  • Your pre-assessment is crucial. Should we only regas, without a pre-assessment, you run the risk of allowing us to test any leakage the aircon might have. Should you have a leakage and we only regas the vehicle’s aircon, you run the risk of gas leaking – whereby we give no warranty. With a pre-assessment, you get a 3 month warranty.

  • Mon – Fri : 07:45: – 17:00
  • Sat :  07:45 – 13:00
  • Sundays and public holidays : closed
